Creepy Crawly Nature Trail

Walked on June 18, 2019April 22, 2022

The Trail

The Creepy Crawly Nature Trail is a fun and adventurous short trail in South-West Tasmania. For walkers of the Mount Anne or Mount Eliza walks, this is a highly recommended stop-in along Scotts Peak Road. The fully board-walked trail only takes 30 minutes to complete, winding its way through dense mossy temperate rainforest.

There are many logs to climb over, and branches to duck. The board-walk is often wet and slippery so take care while walking.

Getting There

View Google Map Directions
From Hobart, head north along the Brooker Highway, then the Lyell Highway through New Norfolk.  Take the Gordon River Road from New Norfolk and follow it for 60km before coming to the left-hand turn off to Scotts Peak Road. The Creepy Crawly Nature Trail is located 2.5km from the intersection
