The Trail
Located only 25 minutes inland from St Helens, the spectacular St Columba Falls are a fantastic inclusion to any Tasmanian east coast adventure. The walk to the Falls is suitable for walkers of all levels, taking only 30 minutes to complete the 1km return journey.
From the carpark area, the trail gently descends to the Falls through breathtaking rainforest ferns. South George River is then crossed via a bridge and skirted briefly before the viewing platform is met. A short scramble over river rocks from here gives an even better view of the impressive waterfall.
